Mission Statement:
The Lincoln Tree of Hope, is dedicated to promoting positive community building, creating human connection, and providing people with the tools necessary to assist them in becoming more self-sufficient.
What do we do?
The Lincoln Tree of Hope, encourages people to find strength in helping themselves overcome adversity and begin to thrive as they move towards a more independent lifestyle. We have an abundance of resources geared towards supporting people in their times of need. At times, our resources are exhausted and therefore, we have to come together as a group and a community to support one another.
We embrace the ideology of “paying it forward”. We encourage people to give back to the community in various ways. “Paying it forward” doesn’t necessarily have to be monetary support, but it can also come in the forms such as: the next time you walk down the street- smile at someone, offer a free hug, compliment someone, leave a cheerful note on a strangers car – there are endless ways to “pay it forward”!
How can I participate?
Here, at The Lincoln Tree of Hope, we hold community events frequently to create opportunities for members and non-members to fund raise, gather, and create viability in the community. Please consider donating: items, money, time, support, etc. Please see the Events tab for current donations and fundraising opportunities. The Lincoln Tree of Hope, is a pay it forward group in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are striving to make a footprint in our community as well as in your heart. We aim to help people utilize the resources provided to them within our community, and when times are tough our own group members always jump in to help!
